Making a mountain out of a mole hill

Here are mole hills. They show that some animals live underground.

Here is a mole. Moles are small mammals with dark velvety fur, a long muzzle, and very small eyes. They live underground. They eat insects only: they are insectivorous.

The idea here is that a mole is very small and a mole hill is very small too.

If you make a mountain out of a mole hill, you are considerably exaggerating what should be considered a small problem. You are over-reacting.
